Apple MacBook – Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz (13.3-inch)
The MacBook was first introduced in 2006 to replace the iBook and 12″ PowerBook series of notebooks. There have been two separate designs of the MacBooks that differ form one another by their exterior “finish”. The first model uses a polycarbonate casing and was modeled after the iBook G3/G4. The second introduced in October 2009 introduced a uni-body polycarbonate shell. It features a 2.2 GHz Intel “Core 2 Duo” processor, 1 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) installed, 120 GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard drive, “Sudden Motion Sensor” technology, 8X dual-layer write DVD-RW/CD-RW SuperDrive and Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics processor (1280×800 native resolution). This MacBook is easy to upgrade with a new hard drive or RAM.
