iCard for iPhone App by Brian Burke

iPhone App Review

iCard by Brian Burke

Brian Burke of SellYourMac is back again with another easy to use App called iCard. iCard for the iPhone and iPod Touch puts the power of digital card making into the palm of your hand. With an easy to navigate interface and 21 original “hand-made” templates, this great App gets you up and running, quickly making your own original creations!

What I liked right from the start with the iCard App was that it was easy to use. Once launched it doesn’t take long for you to design and produce a great looking digital card to share. Another great feature is the seemingly endless choices you have while designing. To start, you can select Hand-made cards, Take your own photo, Pick a photo from camera roll or Pick a photo from library. If you are really creative you can even design something outside the app and place it in your library on your iPhone or iPod Touch and then select it using “Pick from library”.
Easy to navigate with LOTS of options.

Once you have selected a template to customize from the iCard library you are given even more options: you can select from any one of 3 card types; Face only, two-sided, or open card with front, inside, and back.

Did I mention the iCard App is only $0.99! When you are ready to roll up your sleeves and get designing you are given even more options that include a variety of icons like colorful balloons, flowers, a Christmas tree and butterflies to decorate your card with. Similar to Burke’s Drunk Sharpie you can easily size the icons using pinch and move them by dragging. Other tools include a fully customizable text writing tool and a colorful sharpie pen. When it comes time to share your iCard you can email it, post it to Facebook or Twitter, or save it to your iPhone’s camera roll.
Give your card the traditional way

Give your card the traditional way.

If you want to give a card the “traditional” way iCard lets you do that as well. You can email your finished design to yourself and then print it out using Preview. Don’t be fooled by other flashy looking iCard Apps in the Apple Store. This one is the real deal offering you more choices than any other App like it – Did I mention this App is only $0.99! Get yours today in the App Store.
